Eshu
A South American deity of chaos and trickery, Eshu is the protector of travelers, the controller of fortune and misfortune, and the personification of death. Though Eshu often test and toys with mortals, it is only in the hope that they will learn from the experience.

A Greek hero, son of Glaucus, King of Corinth. He was the original tamer of Pegasus and killed the Chimera.
Syrinx
Was a beautiful nymph who was pursued by Pan. Syrinx was an independent nymph who was adverse to falling in love so she ran to the river’s edge to avoid the satyr. She asked the river nymphs for assistance where they turned her into river reeds for protection. Pan, completely frustrated, sighed loudly near the reeds where Syrinx hid, and the reeds produced a pleasing melody. Pan decided to gather some of the reeds and fastened them into what is now called a Pan Pipe. He called this new musical instrument Syrinx, after the beautiful nymph.
